![]() The struggles of learning something new.Īm I taking a lot of quizzes? Damn right I am. I scored 100% on two quizzes just recently, but sometimes the quizzes are harder and I fail. If we do not receive a response within seven (7) days.we will be forced to suspend the account."Īs it's written, it sounds like, 'Hey, what's up with you? What's taking you so long to learn this material? Are you dumb?' If anyone at PrepCast took a moment to review my quiz scores, they'd see, it's just taking me some time to get my numbers up. It would also be a violation of the Project Management Institute (PMI)® Code of Ethics, which could result in the loss of certification for all involved. We hope that you are aware that violating our terms and conditions is unethical behavior. "We had a few instances where students shared their accounts with others since they had not read through our product terms & conditions closely. Then it goes on to say what I believe was the sole purpose for sending their email in the first place: Are you having some difficulties in your exam preparation and studies you want to share with us? Perhaps we can provide you with some tips & recommendations.' We noticed that you had taken quite a few quizzes during this period: We wanted to check with you as to what might be going on. 'We see that since you purchased the PM Exam Simulator on *, and the last day of your latest extension expires on. Out of the blue last week, I received an email from PrepCast Customer Service: The results are compiled into statistical feedback that points out areas you need to focus on, but also how you score against other people who are also using the PMP Exam Simulator. ![]() You take quizzes to go through their 2,000 question database and you get 5 PMP practice exams to see how you fare in a 3-hr. If you've never used the PMP Exam Simulator, it's pretty simple. ![]() ![]() It's coming up on a year since qualifying to take the exam, so I think I need to take it by April, but I've been procrastinating. I've been using PrepCast's PMP Exam Simulator off and on over the past year. I'm sorry for the wall of text but after receiving a couple of really upsetting emails out of the blue, I'm upset. TLDR: Problem solved! PrepCast refunded my recent extension and threw in some additional access after I get my certification. If only more companies responded like this. So much so, that I’ve told more people about the SOLUTION than the problem itself. The empathy and communication from PrepCast was exceptional. This certification just means a lot to me, it represents a lot, so I was scared that my future might no longer be in my hands. No two people said the same thing which tells me the person was being authentic. I don't want to sound like a fan girl, but the response from the PrepCast team was nothing short of amazing: lots of ownership over the problem, tons of empathy, and a quick resolution. Erika was doing what she was hired to do, but maybe should've investigated a little further with her team lead. Within 24 hours, I'd heard from their Head of Operations, the Product Owner of the Exam Simulator, and the Erika's team leader who told me that Erika is on the team assigned to protect their intellectual property (which, PrepCast says is violated and abused continuously.)įrom the explanations I received, in my opinion this was the result of a training gap combined with some flawed logic. UPDATE: I'm happy to report this situation quickly resolved after Cornelius Fichtner, the Owner and President of PrepCast saw my post and got involved.
